Episode 289: Gravity? That’s Just a Suggestion
Being a Strong Female Character has its good points, I guess. But don’t worry… Gyno-Star won’t put up with this much longer. I promise! I mean, no matter what Liefeldian universe you hail from, that thong has got to chafe. And can you imagine the tan lines?
Anyway, sorry about the long break since the last comic! I’m really going to try to make sure that doesn’t happen again.
Won’t have to put up with this for much longer? Good. That can only mean she’s getting her new enhancements soon!
It’s been fun seeing our heroine like this, but probably best if she gets back to normal soon … assuming normal is what she becomes after this 🙂
Yay update! This is a quirky little comic but it’s grown on me immensely. Looking forward to seeing how she manages to defeat Objectifier!

I’m no chunk of perfection but guys like that make me want to go Dexter on them.
He just looks slightly pained rather than anywhere close to unconsciousness. Either she’s pulling her punches or she’s significantly weaker than she was. Then again, I can’t recall the last time she knocked out someone…
It’s the ideal woman ( objectified, get it ? ) = weaker than any man ( aka green eyes guy ).
She can’t beat him if he uses his power smart.
I expect that explains why he isn’t on the pavement rolling in agony after a solid blow to the groin.
He’s the ideal man! He is permitted to display polite discomfort, but no woman may best him!

Shouldn't using the ray on himself automatically turn him into "stronger than any woman" ?
That's kind of the stereotype right there, no?
That way she couldn't beat him no matter what?
She should just zap him with her childbirth-pain power. That’ll have him rolling in agony and surrendering!
Oh ya and she hits his crotch – talk about a stereotypical and lowly move 🙂
Fighting Dirty?
I hope so. Given how much mass he’s got on her GS is a smart cookie to be bringing the pain like that. I have no doubt Gynostar is the more skilled and experienced combatant.
I like the heel-stomp to right hook combo there in particular. >=]
…although I also notice the third frame is the exact same pose as the second except for her pelvis and right foot being reversed.
… And Dr. Douche is now my favourite character.

Prediction: for his next trick, he transforms her into a villainess.
She continues to kick his arse, while wearing something equally ludicrous in black, lace and spikes.
Second prediction: this all ends with a real beatdown when he zaps Little Sappho, and the transformation triggers her rage powers.
(And then Blue Sun girl comes back with an antidote).
Seeing as how Gynostar is supposed to be super-strong and Objectifier just got a blow to the testes (that is where most of the really sensitive nerves are), he must be wearing one heck of a cup, or he would be writhing around on the ground for the next minute or so.
Or else he’s nigh invulnerable.
I don’t suppose it’s a surprise that Male Gaze Man is not much of a fighter – only minutes (months? :)) ago he was just a geek. And for that “middlin” punch not taking him down… there was this clue: “Wha? They’re getting… smaller?”.
I’m sure Gyno-Star will be happy to be back to her usual self. Imagine how hard things like putting gas in the car or waiting in line at the movie theatre would be while posing all the time.
Still – I’m loving this arc!
His arm looks different now.
It used to be a Winter Soldier-style collumn of metal bands arranged in an arm shape, now it seems to be a basic 3-joint arm covered in what are either metal blobs in a position designed to appear muscular, or a collection of siover ballons.
Haha, you’re the only one who noticed (or who bothered to point it out anyway). I got lazy. Anyway, I went back and fixed it for ya.
I as a male will be very happy when Gyno-Star returns to normal. Just looking at what the photoshop butchers do to people, mostly women and chops them up and make the thin ones thinner!

Now I’m wondering what gigs a temp agency of that kind could find for him… Home decorating, perhaps? (“You turned my house into a what???”) It seems like a transforming beam could have medical/vetinary applications too, although it would be nice if he could tone down the “side effects” to a somewhat healthier ideal…
Ooh, a different comic for me to read. However, after breezing through it and seeing a ton of references that I really don’t understand (what is a Guile theme?), I can’t say that it’s as good as this one. Gynostar manages to be funny without relying so much on topical references.
