It was an awesome conversation. We talked about superhero movies, scotch, and politics. All my favorite things! Tom is an excellent podcast host with the coolest voice I’ve ever heard. It was truly a blast talking to him. I hope you guys enjoying listening as much as I enjoyed recording it.

“Where’s My Gyno-Star Update?”

…You may be asking, probably with frustration but an undertone of resignation. For you know I can never keep a consistent update schedule. Ah, the sweet vexation of being a Gyno-Star fan.

It’s true, I haven’t updated in over three weeks! I sincerely apologize for yet another the unplanned hiatus. Rest assured, the current story line will continue, and soon. And it’s gonna be good. But I’ll be on vacation next week. So I’ve decided to resume updates when I return, at which time I hope to have at least a few strips ready, so I can post new comics steadily and regularly going forward.

Expect the updates to resume around August 19. If plans change, I’ll do my best to let you lovely readers know.

This looks like a job for… Wonder Wendy!

I drew this as a tribute to Texas State Senator Wendy Davis. She’s kind of a real life feminist superhero.

In other news, I attended Netroots Nation 2013 a few weeks ago thanks to a scholarship awarded by Democracy For America. I want to do a blog post about the highlights of the conference and all the people I met and some of the stuff I learned. I’ll post it here… as soon as I get a chance. But first I’ve got to work on a Gyno-Star update!
