This is a good one! But what is “print”?
Something my grandfather once told me about.
Something a dude named Guten Burger invented I think…
Awesome as always!
Nah. You waited almost a week. The day of his death, my friend was told by a movie website he works for to quickly write an article about Steve Jobs’s death and the legacy of Pixar. He asked me for a headline. My suggestion: Finding Chemo. That was deemed too soon.
It wasn’t. That’s brilliant.
Spot on! I remember hearing the famous speech he gave to the graduating class at Stanford(?) in which Jobs himself was narcissistic enough to claim that computers probably wouldn’t have fonts if it wasn’t for him… as though somehow he was the only person in the world who could have ever had the idea that “gee, maybe we could do our typesetting on the computer”. ;P
If the man had shortcomings, being a poor self-aggrandizer wasn’t one of them.
On the contrary, his only flaw was that he was too humble, failing to take proper credit for fire and the wheel. Although he acknowledged his responsibility for creating Bill Gates.
I’m very, very excited about this twist.
Full credit to my co-writer, Death.
Matt Gray, this is very true. I have shown great class and good taste, unlike some people.
I really like your stuff. I see no typos….very refreshing. And your art is crisp and clear…uncluttered and comprehendable. Best of all…you are funny!
Well thank you!
and this is why boys and girls…I don’t have any apple products. I don’t even use their ‘reel time’ or whatever the heck they call it. There is little apple does that others didn’t do first. 8^) mice? Nope apple did not invent them.
cool fonts? ASCII let’s you create fonts that haven’t even been dreamed of yet.
You do know that ASCII has nothing to do with fonts, right? The font is the display, ASCII is the code used to determine the character (though ASCII is fairly deprecated at this point).
